With over 20+ years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, I am committed to helping you embrace this beautiful phase of life. My coaching and training have already touched lives, like one client who triumphed over cancer, became pregnant, and gave birth naturally.

I help men and women improve their quality of life by becoming physically and emotionally fit with exercise and motivation. As a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor of various formats, I am motivated to lead, educate, and inform to improve your well-being and encourage a change to a healthier lifestyle. I am most passionate about it. I aim to establish relationships with the community with a no-excuses format for physical activity, resulting in better health outcomes and lasting positive change. My purpose is to motivate others to improve their quality of life and live every day to the fullest.
Here at Strange Fitness, we strive to help you maintain a healthy balance between your workout goals and life. Shera Strange is a nationally certified health coach, personal trainer, nationally certified group exercise instructor, and Certified Cycle/Spin Instructor. As a fitness specialist and past amateur triathlete, she conducts national lectures and workshops on several topics, including fitness, nutrition, and motivation. She specializes in teaching classes such as TABATA/HIIT (high-intensity interval training), circuits, strength training, conditioning, cardiovascular, boot camp, core and functional training, and mat Pilates.
Shera has had training in anatomy, kinesiology, exercise physiology, exercise psychology, fitness assessments, stress testing, and athletic training, which allows her to work with several populations. She has over 15 years of experience working with men, women, seniors, pre and postnatal women, pre and posts gastric bypass, post-hysterectomy, minor-league baseball players, and healthy persons who experience health challenges such as MS, stroke, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and cancer.
In 2000, at 5ft 4 1/2 inches, she weighed 210 pounds and was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Also, she had heel spurs and experienced constant pain in her hip because of the excess weight. After the multiple diagnoses, Shera knew she had to lose weight and get better health. However, it wasn't easy until two very close family members died from harmful health-related diseases. Shera decided to take a change in her life seriously. With a commitment to becoming healthy, Shera started her career on the path to fitness and better health. Today, Shera has lost over 60 pounds and improved her overall health.
Shera is pursuing Precision Nutrition (PN) Sleep, Stress, and Recovery certifications and becoming a Diabetes Prevention Coach!
